I'm not here at the moment, so if you want to talk to me, it'll have to wait. Sorry.

Date: 2012-01-20 05:13 pm (UTC)How'd you get my name, anyway?
But you're right in that I've been around for awhile. If you have questions, ask away!

[A sigh.]
It'll be 2 years next month. There's nothing brief about that.

Date: 2012-01-22 04:21 pm (UTC)Catastrophic events...Right. They don't follow any sort of pattern, you know. At first, the worst of it came from fellow foreigners. There were some attempted murders. There were some dangerous people here. That was before we started banding together as foreigners.
Catastrophic events that the bubble did? Well, there were the monster invasions. Noise, pirates, zombie mermaids [An exaggerated wince] and then the more recent ones like fish monsters and the kraken and all.
You know, other than our pride, most of the curses have been harmless.

Date: 2012-05-31 07:08 pm (UTC)The coral appears to be repairing itself. Here are the readouts for the past five days, with "full power" being estimated off of Friday.
Friday: Full Power
Saturday: 10%
Sunday: 24%
Monday: 30%
Tuesday: 40%
Wednesday: 50%
Thursday: 68%
Healing effects of the coral seem to be reduced or removed entirely when its glow dims. People who frequently use it to stay away are also reporting trouble with that function when it loses power.
Based on these readouts, the coral is either repairing itself from the temporary merge with the strange dream world called "Somarium", or preparing for something rather large. Do take care.

Date: 2012-06-01 07:00 pm (UTC)It's just an observation based on the data gathered. With what you and others have told me, abnormalities in the coral tend to mean one of those two things. There's always the possibility that it's going to do something entirely new, but I don't see the danger in being prepared for the outcomes that we can forsee.

I've never seen anything quite like the world changing that happened before.

Text
Date: 2012-06-08 12:39 am (UTC)You're a pessimistic one, aren't you. Don't give me any of that 'realist' nonsense either.
What comes will come. And it will pass too. Be prepared for the likely, not the worst.
